Alpinmesse with Alpinforum 2024 inspires the mountain sports community in the European Alpine region

The Alpinmesse with Alpinforum in Innsbruck once again established itself as the leading mountain sports platform and brought together 12,400 mountain sports enthusiasts and around 200 exhibitors. The event, organised by Congress Messe Innsbruck and the Austrian Board of Trustees for Alpine Safety, offered a wide range of trends and innovations relating to skiing, climbing, biking and alpine safety. Numerous lectures and workshops - over 80 programme items in total - provided specialist knowledge and practical relevance. Topics such as technical innovations, risk prevention and environmental protection took centre stage.

High visitor satisfaction

Under the guiding theme of ‘Change & Adaptation’, the Alpine Forum highlighted current challenges facing mountain sports in the face of climate change and discussed tour planning and accident prevention with renowned experts. More than 90 percent of participants were highly satisfied and praised the quality of the supporting programme in particular, which offered practical workshops and exciting competitions such as the BlocAlpin Boulder Cup. Next year promises to be another event full of highlights - the 18th Alpinmesse with Alpinforum is planned for 15 and 16 November 2025.
